Rail: Lucknow is serviced by the North and North eastern Railway networks by express and superfast trains. Once of the convenient connections is Shatabadi Express from Delhi. Direct trains connect Lucknow to Guwahati, Varanasi, Puri, Dehra Dun, Allahabad and Tirupati.

Road: Lucknow is on the important cross routes of national Highways 24, 25 and 28. Some important distance are Delhi 569 km, Agra 369 km, Calcutta 963 km and Varanasi 286 km.

Haridwar: This is one of the seven salvation-best owing cities.This is an extra ordinarily holy place for Hindus. It is 1000 ft. above Sea level. The holy Ganga flows here through Mountain Valley and enters the broad plains of Hindustan. So, it is called Dwaram.Once in every 12 years Ganga Pushkaram called the Kumbhamela, is celebrated here .

Brahmakund:The ashes and the bones of departed people are immersed in the Ganga waters here. From here Ganga water is collected and brought home by the pilgrims. There are many temples here.

This is a fine place for Sadhus and Sanyasis. This is also convenient for mountain climbers.In this Rishikesh there is Rishi Kundam and Geetha Bhavan.You have to bathe in Rishi Kundam and have Darsan in Raghu Nadhya Alayam.

Lakshman Jhula: It is 5 km from Rishikesh. It is actually a foot bridge over the Ganga river on the way to Badrinath. While going on foot here, we can witness the temples of Rama, Lakshmanand Bharath.
