Massive light house. Visitors are allowed to go to the top of the light
House.

Backwaters
The charming old port city of Kollam on the banks of the Ashtamudi
Lake is known as the center of the cashew industry. It is one of the oldest
ports of the backwaters, with the ferry to Alappuzha taking more than
8 hours. Quilon like Alleppey is also surrounded by beautiful coconut
palms presenting a panoramic view cruising on this lake is very interesting.
Motor boats, pedal Boats & rowing boats can be hired from Ashtamudi
Boat club Quilon, Tel: 2519 or Quilon Promotion Council, Guest House Compound,
