Fort
Kalinjar Fort, standing on the Vindhya Range, 38 km away from the Attara railway
station, is said to have been built during the period of the Guptas.
Ajaygarh Fort
Ajaygarh Fort, 36 km from Panna, is a 30minute drive from Khajuraho. An old
fort, built at a height of 688 metres, was the capital of the Chandelas during
their decline.
Ramvan
Ramvan, 14 km from Satna is a museum housing a large collection of Tulsidas'
manuscripts, the remains of the Barhut Stupa (2nd century BC) and early Medieval
and Gupta sculptures.
Nachna
Nachna, 40 km from Panna, is well known for the CHATURMUKHA MAHADEV TEMPLE named
after the colossal four-faced lingam, which is still enshrined inside.
